These bangles are made from a brass alloy that will retain its golden color, unlike plated jewelry which can peel and flake off.  However, it will tarnish a bit over time and wear, but each piece has been polished with a specially designed wax coating which greatly slows this process down.

For best care: avoid excessive exposure to water and chemicals, including cleaning products. To polish, buff with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth (please email if you would like to periodically send your piece back for a fresh coat of anti-tarnish wax!)
