Labradorite is my favorite gemstone! It's actually the stone that got me into jewelry making! There are many stories in folklore about the origins and meanings of labradorite, but I'll share with you my favorite-   The Inuit people believe the light fell from the Aurora Borealis and became trapped in the stone. An ancient warrior came and struck the stone with his sword, releasing the light back into the sky where we still enjoy it in Northern parts of the world today! This enchanting light is said to be responsible for labradorite's iridescence or "fire". It is excellent for awakening one's own awareness of inner spirit, intuition and psychic abilities. This is a truly magical stone!

These stones are uniquely “geo” cut which helps to reflect and enhance the natural "fire" found inside. These are some of the most interesting beads and their neutral color and fascinating properties make it a great addition to any stack!
