Such a simple but unique piece. This is an antique brass trade bead from Nigeria. The metal is thick, but hollow - making it a light, but sturdy bead. It has a beautiful patina and layers great with shorter pieces, making it both a great casual piece on its own or layered for something more interesting!

The length is measured at approximately 38” and falls at the navel. The chain is antiqued brass and is hand made for me in Italy. It has a high quality e-coating that helps resist tarnish. Please note: all necklaces with lengths at or longer than 26” do not have a clasp and are meant to be slipped over the head.
