This is such a simple, but unique piece! Its great for layering with shorter necklaces, but is a favorite of mine for everyday wear! The pendant is a “lost wax brass casting” from Cote d’Ivoire, the Ivory Coast, in Africa! This method of casting requires a great deal of skill and is used to make beads, tribal baules (like this sunburst pendant), statues, and other metal items found abundantly in North Western Africa.

The length is measured at approximately 34” and falls just below the bust. The chain is antiqued brass and is hand made for me in Italy. It has a high quality e-coating that helps resist tarnish. Please note: all necklaces with lengths at or longer than 26” do not have a clasp and are meant to be slipped over the head.
